Where to park

If you're coming to our Christmas Markets we recommend you leave the car at home. You’ll avoid the stress of parking and can treat yourself to a Gluhwein or beer at one of the many bars along the market trail. However, if you're not one for drinking or you have to bring the vehicle, here's some info that hopefully helps.

On-street parking

On-street parking is provided by pay and display bays which operate between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Sunday in all Zones.  In Zone 4, the same rules apply, except on Saturdays and Sundays when you can pay for parking for the entire weekend.

After 8pm, and before 8am on the following day, there is no charge for using any of our on-street parking bays (subject to parking restrictions). But if your car is left unattended overnight you may be fined if you have not collected it or paid for your parking after 8am.

There are also no charges for using our bays on Bank Holidays and if you are a Blue Badge holder, all on-street parking in the city centre is free.
