About

Hello and a very warm welcome to the Albert Square Chop House in Thomas Worthington’s iconic Memorial Hall, bang in the heart of the City. Built in 1866, listed, but long neglected, it’s now a brilliant dining pub and British restaurant, with a unique function floor that’s perfect for events, business meetings, private dining, parties and weddings. Come and see us soon.

The Bar

The bar is the first space you enter. It features cask conditioned local ales, guest beers and Manchester’s biggest list of wines by the glass: 36 in all. It’s the perfect venue to catch up with friends or to catch up with business. We have free WiFi, a bar menu with all the Chop House classics and up to 90 covers.
